Boys

I am so grateful to be able to spend time with the grandbabies. They would both probably cringe in embarrassment if they knew I was using the term "babies" to describe them. But that's what they will always be to me. The boy and I are watching "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", a franchise that has somehow managed to endure against all odds. I've always wondered how the creator of this came up with the name "teenage mutant ninja turtles"...I mean, did they just pick the four most random things in the universe and say, "well, now there's a multi-million dollar franchise right there, now!" I'm not a fan, but the boy loves them, so there you go. I couldn't get him interested in "Steel Magnolias"...

We all have our preferences , don't we?  That's one of the things that make us unique. It can unite us or divide us.  in this case, it united me and the boy, because I am trying learn about the turtles because he loves them. I even started to sing the theme song, but he told me to stop....
